Professional experience:

In the years 2012 – 2020, he was the Rector of the Józef Piłsudski Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. In 2020, the President of the Republic of Poland awarded him the title of professor of medical sciences and health sciences. He made 52 expert opinions and studies commissioned by public institutions and Polish entrepreneurs. As an expert on the technical committee of the Polish Committee for Standardization for Sport and Recreation, he prepared about 20 opinions for the translation of European Standards, and their implementation on the Polish market participated in the review of Polish own Standards and introduced International Standards.

Member of the Polish Society of Biomechanics (he was the Secretary General of PTB for two terms), the Polish Society of Biomedical Engineering, the International Society of Biomechanics, the technical committee of the Polish Committee for Standardization for Sport and Recreation, the editorial committee of the Polish Journal of Sport and Tourism. His greatest scientific achievements are related to research for sports. The research results were widely disseminated in sports practice. He has published a total of 186 scientific publications, including 96 original scientific ones on the biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system (64 publications), motor training (16 publications), ergonomics (7 publications), and genetics (7 publications), neurophysiology (2 publications).

Research interests:

– biomechanics of the locomotor system (optimization of Master-Sport products in BioMotion, Shaped and Natural Strength training devices)

– broadly understood ergonomics (co-creator of the mPosition® concept and the ERGODESIGN® ergonomic database)
