Natalia Łojko

Professional experience:

Natalia Łojko is a legal advisor and director of the legal department of AstraZeneca in Poland. After graduating from the law faculties of the University of Warsaw and the University of Oxford, Natalia has been involved in healthcare law for almost 20 years. For over a decade, she worked at the Baker & McKenzie law firm, and in 2014 she co-founded the Kieszkowska Rutkowska Kolasiński law firm, becoming a partner responsible for the pharmaceutical law department.

As a lawyer, Natalia dealt with the whole life cycle of a medicinal product – from clinical trials to marketing authorization, distribution, advertising, reimbursement, and recall. Before joining AstraZeneca, Natalia supported several innovative pharmaceutical companies on all issues related to their business, including over eight years as an in-house lawyer for Bristol Myers Squibb.

She has been repeatedly distinguished in the prestigious international rankings of Chambers Europe and Legal500. Over the years, Natalia also advised hospitals and doctors in the field of health insurance and terms of service. She has handled pro bono lawsuits, especially, related to access to health services, both in Poland and in a cross-border context. For years, she has been involved in legislative work on behalf of industry associations as part of subsequent amendments to the pharmaceutical law and the reimbursement law. Author of many articles in the trade and daily press, and a frequent speaker at conferences.
