Prof. UEK, dr hab. Aleksandra Nowak-Gruca

Professional experience:

Aleksandra Nowak-Gruca is a professor at the University of Economics in Krakow, habilitated doctor of law, economist, business trainer, psychotraumatologist, and psychotherapist in the Gestalt training process. She graduated in law and economics at the level of doctoral studies and completed two legal apprenticeships. Aleksandra also completed numerous psychological courses. She gained clinical experience in the hospital J. Babiński in Krakow. In her scientific work, she focuses primarily on searching for new paradigms in research on law using the achievements of other sciences, in particular economics, psychology, and neuroscience.

Author of four books, including two monographs, and dozens of scientific and popular science publications about intellectual property law, new technologies law, and multidisciplinary research on law. She has completed several dozen training courses and projects for the economic environment. Winner of NCN competitions, and NAWA scholarship holder, she also participated in international and national research programs. As part of the NCN SONATA 14 grant, she is researching the impact of artificial intelligence and Human Enhancement on copyright.
